A documentary by Hans Pool

Some of the few remaining veterans tell their stories about the horrific battle for the Grebbeberg during the German invasion, just before the capitulation on May 15th 1940. An estimated 2000 badly equipped and trained militaries had to fight over 20.000 Germans. The Dutch device was 'Until the last man and the last bullet'. Deserters were not spared: Dutch officers forced their troops to shoot Dutch soldiers trying to leave the battlefield.

Besides that, the German Waffen SS acted ruthless. Defenseless captives were used as cover and sent into Dutch fire or minefields.
